I can't believe it. Already the fifth week of school. I was looking at my calendar for October and nearly every Friday of the month I will be missing school. I'm super psyched for the first weekend (in just TWO weeks) because I'm going to visit CU Boulder's Speech Path graduate program. Working on my application makes me feel like a senior in high school again... I need to figure out what I want to write about in my personal statement essay. The next weekend I head off to Dinosaur Valley with my backpacking and camping class for an overnight primitive camping trip which should be really fun! Then the next weekend = FALL BREAK and celebrating Maddy and Matt's 18th bdays! Even though I was just home last weekend for Dad's birthday, I can't wait to go back again. I just love being at home. The following weekend is Homecoming!!! and the family is coming up for their first (and Baylor's 100th) BU homecoming. Friday morning, though, I'm off to UT Austin to visit their speech path program for the morning. The next Friday we have a conference for NSSLHA and I'll be assisting with that all day... so it looks like October will FLY by. Then... basically one month + one week of school + finals and this semester is over. Wow.
Speaking of graduation, I went to look at Baylor rings with Paget and JJ yesterday before that embarrassment of a game against UConn... There were so many choices I just can't decide. But it's really exciting that that moment has come! What's weird about graduating is none of my roommates are going to be graduating with me.
Well, with all this talk about the future, I need to get back to actually doing homework so I can get there haha....
until later,
love.

back to baylor
i can't believe it's already my senior year of college... the first week has gone by. it's definitely been hard getting back in the swing of things and i've been exhausted lately. i've been getting a moderate amount of sleep, but 8 am classes have been pretttty difficult. i'm taking 17 hours: technical and professional writing, intro to audiology, current issues in biology, backpacking and camping, history of jazz, and organic and nuerogenic disorders. it's quite an amalgam of classes, and i'm sure that they, along with mission waco and campus visits will keep me busy enough. our first football game is next weekend. it'll be interesting to see how football does this season.
paget has her family's two small poodles up here for the week and i think tanner is feeling rejected because they don't play with him like his sisters from home do haha.
